About Konkan
Konkan is a 50 km wide north-south stretch of land lying between the Arabian Sea and the Sahyadri mountain range in the west of India. At the heart of this Konkan is Ladghar, a scenic village situated in Dapoli taluka of Ratnagiri district. It is well connected by road to the rest of the country. The nearest Konkan railway station is Khed, located just 35 Kilometers away; on less than an hour's drive. Khed is ideally located on the famous Mumbai-Goa national highway.
